Why

Every member of the Club has reasons of their own, and I would not presume to speak for them. Many of them have listed their reasons on the members page.

First and foremost: No, I'm not doing this for money. I'm not doing this for praise, or for any kind of special acknowledgement.

So why am I doing this?

Of all the questions, this is by far the easiest to answer.

I am doing this, because in the summer of 2001 I got a chance to meet a man I'd admired for almost nine years, and it surpassed all of my greatest expectations. I had prepared myself: I was expecting a brief handshake, and maybe an autograph, and instead I found a genuine, charismatic, funny, down to earth guy, who actually wanted to spend time with his fans. My friends and I got to spend a weekend with Scott McNeil, and it was an experience I won't forget.
